Tips for Choosing Headphones
Choosing headphones , as it turns out, is not as simple as it should be. With seemingly thousands of brands out there, each of which has slightly different configurations, where does one even start? Fortunately, there are still a few constants in this jungle. The standard size of a headphone jack remains at 3.5mm, making things simpler. And Bluetooth remains Bluetooth, even as it moves to the latest Bluetooth 5.0. Anyway, the following are a few tips to help you choose headphones;
This really should be the biggest thing when it comes to choosing headphones. Fortunately, the Bose headphones wireless version largely deliver on this. The fact that you are considering buying headphones means you wish to listen to music. And you are not going to enjoy that music if you buy headphones that look good but whose sound quality sucks. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to sample the sound quality when buying your headphones online. So, you really need to scour all the places that you can find for reviews about the Bose wireless headphones that you are interested in (including this site!).
The fact that you are here means brand name is important to you as far as choosing headphones is concerned. You are reading this article because you are wondering whether or not to buy the Bose headphones wireless version. Hopefully, this Bose Wireless headphones review will give you all the information that you need to make the right choice. When it comes to headphones, there is probably no name out there that’s bigger than Bose. Now, choosing your headphones based on brand name can be costly, but it is worthwhile in many instances. If you have the money, there is really no need for you to opt for cheap, Chinese made headphones that give you a headache. You are better off buying Bose Wireless headphones that you know are made to last and to give you an unparalleled listening experience.
If you take a peek at the headphones that are on the market today, you will realize that Noise Cancelling is one of the features that’s trending at the moment. Active noise cancelling, in particular, appears to be in great demand among buyers. But what is Noise Cancelling and what is Active Noise Cancelling (ANC)?
Noise Cancelling Definition
Most over-ear headphones that are on the market today come with a degree of passive noise cancelling. By simply placing your headphones over your ears, you essentially shut out lot’s of the ambient noises from the environment around you. Noise cancelling can be useful if you would rather not listen to what’s going on around you. However, passive noise cancelling is usually not enough as far as keeping sounds out is concerned.
Active Noise Cancelling
If you really wish to shut out most of the ambient noises that make up the environment, you need to get headphones that offer Active Noise Cancelling. Most of these headphones have a switch that you can use to turn ANC on and off. Active Noise Cancelling is great for those that simply wish to listen to their music without external distractions. It comes in handy in some environments, such as on a plane or on a train. However, there are some instances where you need to control the level of ANC. When jogging, as an example, you want headphones that let in some of the surrounding sounds. This allows you to stay alert, meaning you won’t accidentally be stuck by a car or by other vehicles.
If you are like the average person, price tends to be a major consideration when buying headphones. But does it mean more expensive headphones are better than cheaper ones in terms of performance and quality. Truth is, things are not really simple. One of the things that you will notice is that prices for headphones are all over the place. You will find some headphones on Amazon costing less than $20. Then there are others on there that cost an eye popping $999. So, which ones are you going to end up buying?
Most people buy the cheapest headphones that they can lay their hands on. However, that is not always wise. It’s also not always wise to assume that headphones are good simply because they cost more. If you read reviews online, you will be surprised to note that some of the cheapest headphones out there actually have more positive feedback than their more expensive counterparts.
But this is a review of the Bose headphones wireless version. Truth is; Bose is Bose. It’s not one of the cheapest brands out there. And fact that you are considering Bose Wireless Bluetooth headphones means you are a bit beyond looking for the cheapest product that you can lay your hands on. We have previously written an article on the best cheap Bluetooth headphones for running and Bose does not feature anywhere on there.
Comfort is another issue that people tend to look for when it comes to buying headphones. The average person spends around 3 hours per day with their headphones on the head. However, if you are one of those people who like to spend the entire day listening to music, or playing games, then comfort will be a BIG factor when it comes time for you to get a new pair of headphones.
Unfortunately, it’s virtually impossible for you to try out the headphones that are on offer when buying online. Your only recourse then is to read the reviews written by people who have already purchased the headphones that you are interested in. On some platforms, you can narrow down reviews to those features that are most important to you. As an example, you can check out what people have to say about a pair of headphones’ sound quality or noise cancelling.
Battery life tends to be another major selling point when it comes to headphones. However, you shouldn’t make this the major consideration. You can always recharge you battery but you can’t change the sound quality on a particular pair of headphones. You charge your mobile phone almost on a daily basis, right? Now, even headphones that come with the worst battery life will go several days without needing to be recharged. And charging for Bluetooth headphones tends to be done in an average of 3 hours. So, I wouldn’t advise anyone not to buy a set of headphones simply because their rated battery life is lower than the competition. There are more important considerations out there, in any case.
Bose Headphones Bluetooth Versions Reviews
This is the section where we review of each of the Bose Bluetooth Wireless headphones that we gave in the above table. We need to repeat that our information is based on both our testing and on reviews left online by consumers. We are going to review the following Bose Wireless Bluetooth headphones from Bose;
- Bose QuiteComfort 35 II wireless headphones
- Bose Headphones Bluetooth 700
- Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Headphones
Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones are, perhaps, the most popular Bluetooth Wireless headphones from Bose. This popularity probably has to do with the fact that these headphones are quite good. They are probably one of the best Bose headphones wireless version that you will be able to find on the market today. Bose QC 35 headphones are popular, which is not really surprising, considering that they are made by Bose. So, what can you expect should you decide to buy these headphones?
So, how much do these headphones cost? You can check out the price in the image above. Needless to say that the QuietComfort II is a Bose, after all. Bose does not make cheap headphones. If you are on the hunt for that, then you should go elsewhere. However, you get what you pay for in terms of quality and satisfaction.

What do customers say about QC35 headphones II?
Okay, so Bose says it’s QC35 headphones II are great, but what do customers say? What’s kind of reviews have been left across the internet regarding the above features? In this section, we take a looking at the Bose Bluetooth QC35 headphones features based on the responses from people who have already purchased these headphones;
Noise cancelling is the latest thing in headphones. Almost all the headphones that are on the market today claim to have the ability. But what is noise cancelling and how does it work? Simply put, noise cancelling in headphones is the ability to shut out ambient noise. The world in which we live is actually very noisy.
If you take a moment to listen, you will realize that there are multiple sources of noise pollution, from vehicles to the natural sounds that surround us. Fortunately, human beings are able to tune out much of this noise. However, that is not always possible. There are times when you just feel like enjoying your music without being bothered the noise that surrounds you.
This can be a bit antisocial, but who are we to judge. Anyway, noise cancelling headphones enable people to shut out all the ambient noise, as already noted. However, not all noise cancelling headphones are created equal. From what we have seen, there are probably very few headphones out there that provide somewhere close to 100% noise cancelling.
How is noise cancelling on QC35 Series II headphones?
Noise cancelling on Bose QuiteComfort 35 II headphones is probably one of the best that can be dound out there. So, if noise cancelling is one of the key features that you are looking in headphones, then you won’t go wrong here. In fact, most reviews state that these headphones are able to somewhere near 100% noise cancelling. Not exactly 100% but somewhere close.
In fact, if you read the reviews, you will come across people who state that they don’t use the headphones much to listen to music, but to simply shut out ambient noises. On this particular model, noise cancelling is to 3 levels. That is still great, though there are other Bose headphones, such as the QuiteControl 30, that have more noise cancelling levels. The QuiteControl 30 actually has 12 noise cancelling levels.
Battery Life is good
Battery life tends to be a major issue when choosing headphones. We have carried out research and have discovered that the least number of hours that you can get on the headphones that are on the market today appears to be 8 hours. Most of the Bose Headphones Wireless Versions that are out there will give you 20 hours of battery life. The QC 35 II is no different. Charge it today and you probably won’t need to recharge it again for up to a week. That’s at the average usage of 3 hours every day.
Hands free calls
Bose QC35 Series II Bluetooth headphones allow you to make and receive calls wirelessly. This, it has to be said, has pretty much become a standard feature in most headphones. However, not many headphones are able to provide the kind of quality that you get with QC35 Series II headphones from Bose.
Sound quality is great
We have already noted that sound quality should be the primary of your concerns when it comes to choosing headphones. No matter how good or comfortable they may be, headphones are going to be pretty useless without the ability to provide at least a decent sound quality. Now, sound quality is one thing that you need not worry about when it comes to most of the Bose headphones wireless versions that are out there. The QC35 Series II is no exception. Music on these headphones is automatically optimized depending on the type of music that you are listening to.
The Bose Connect app offers total control of your headphones
The Bose Connect app is another great feature that goes hand in hand with most Bose headphones wireless versions. With the QC35 Series II, you can use the Bose Connect app to control the following features;
- The noise cancelling level
- Music sharing
- Get software updates
Comfort level is great
We have already noted that comfort is a major issue, particularly if you use your headphones all day long. Without a high level of comfort, you are only going to end up hating you headphones. The good news is that Bose QuiteComfort 35 II headphones are quite comfortable (as their name suggests). That’s only to be expected, to be frank.
Most of the Bose headphones wireless versions that you will find out there offer almost the best in terms of comfort. These headphones are not cheap, by any standard. I mean, there are headphones out there that cost below $20. These ones cost a lot more. You can check out the current price on Amazon in the image above. So, comfort should be a given, and Bose delivers in this regard. The following factors contribute to the high comfort level;
- Ultra soft materials on the ear cups
- These headphones are not too tight.
- There is padding on the top band.
You get an Audio Cable
If you are like me, you will probably be wary of getting Bluetooth headphones that do not come with the option to use an Audio cable for connectivity. There are times when you simply wish to sit on a computer while doing some work. In those instances, you want to be able to plug your headphones into the 3.5 mm audio jack. You may also wish to do this if you are connecting to a device that does not have Bluetooth. The great thing about Bose QC35 headphones is that they come with the option to connect via the provided AUX cable.
Like all the headphones that are out there, QC35 Series II headphones from Bose have their share of detractors. The following are some of the complaints;
- Noise cancelling is not 100%. Well, you will find some customers who say noise cancelling is close to 100%, so this one is up for debate. Besides which it’s not really possible to find headphones that offer 100% in terms of noise cancelling.
- They can get ruined by software updates that come even without solicitation.
- Some people complain of getting sound distortions at maximum volume.
Should you buy these headphones?
Overall, Bose QuiteComfort 35 II headphones are highly rated. In fact, they have one of the highest ratings that you will be able to find on headphones out there. Our recommendation is that these headphones are good. You should buy them if they satisfy the requirements of what you are looking for. They deliver on noise cancelling, albeit not at 100%. Sound quality is great, but that’s to be expected for a Bose product. Based on what we have seen here, we can safely say QC35 Series II headphones are a great option for those that are looking for the best Bose headphones Bluetooth version.
Bose SoundLink II Headphones Review
The second set of the Bose headphones wireless version that we are going to review is the Bose SoundLink II. So, what can you expect from these headphones? Does the fact that they are made by Bose automatically mean they are good? To find out, we are going to follow our formula of taking a look at the feedback that has been left across the internet by people who have already bought these headphones. But first, here are the SoundLink II’s features;
So, what can you expect to pay for Bose SoundLink II headphones? Well, this is probably one of the cheapest Bose wireless headphone that you will be able to find out there. You can check out the current price in the above image. Note that even a cheap Bose headphone is more expensive than some of the most affordable headphones that can be found on the market today!
- Sound quality that is deep and immersive
- Clear calls
- Wired Option. You get a detachable cable
- Easy connectivity using the latest in Bluetooth tech
- Dual microphone for clearer calls
- 15 hours battery
- You can easily switch between Bluetooth devices
- 30 feet range (9 m)
- Lightweight and comfortable
- 15 minute charge gives you 2 hours of playtime
What do customers say about these features?
So, what do people who have bought these headphones say about these features? What can you expect when you buy Bose SoundLink II headphones? We have already noted that this Bose Soundlink headphones review is based mostly on what customers have said about these headphones. Below are snippets of what people have said about these headphones;
Sound quality is good
Sound quality is really what this Bose SoundLink II headphones review is about. I mean, headphones are all about sound quality, though you will be forgiven for thinking otherwise based on all the features that get thrown around by manufacturers. One of the things that you will hear often said is that Bose SoundLink II headphones have amazing balance, which is great at a time when manufacturers appear to be obsessed with boosting bass to such an extent that it can become quite uncomfortable.
Bose SoundLink II headphones are comfortable to wear. In fact some customers report wearing them all day long without a single problem. Of course, that is probably not good for anybody’s hearing. Most manufacturers recommend that you take a break every 2 or 3 hours to give your ears a chance to breath. However, most Bose headphones with Wireless are comfortable enough that you won’t even notice that they are on your head after a little while.
Battery is another key feature when it comes to buying headphones. It’s particularly important when buying Bluetooth headphones. Bose SoundLink II headphones provide a battery life of 15 hours. That’s below what you get in Bose QuiteComfort II headphones, whose battery is rated at 20 hours.
It has to be said here that there are headphones out there that provide way better battery lives. The best that we have come across is 100 hours on LETSCOM Bluetooth Headphones. You can read about them on our Best Wireless Headphones 2020 page. Anyway, 15 hours is not something to frown upon. Most people only use their headphones for about 3 hours per day. What this means in practical terms is that you probably won’t need to charge Bose SoundLink Around Ear Wireless Headphones II for up to 5 days.
For recharging, you can get 2 hours of play time after charging these headphones for only 15 minutes. Again, this is probably not the best that you will find on the market but recharge time is not such a big deal considering that you will only need to do so once a week. You can simply charge these headphones overnight and you should be good for another week.
Switch between 2 devices
One of the unique thing about Bose SoundLink II Wireless headphones is that you can seamlessly switch between 2 Bluetooth devices. Perhaps you have something playing on your tablet and another thing playing on your Smartphone. Switching between these 2 devices is simply and quick. With the Bose App.
One thing about Bluetooth devices is that connectivity tends to be rather temperamental. However, with Bose SoundLink II Wireless headphones connectivity is seamless. Most people who have bought these headphones state that range is good so they can move around the house while listening to their music. Another great thing about the Bose SoundLink headphones with Bluetooth is that they automatically connect to the last device to which you were connected. So, you don’t have to go through the process of pairing your headphones each time you want to use these headphones.
As said, Bluetooth can be iffy. There are also times when you simply want to sit on your laptop to listen to your music via the AUX option. Perhaps you want to preserve battery life. The great thing about Bose Soundlink II Wireless headphones is that they come with an AUX cable allowing you to use the cable options. So, you can use these headphones even on devices that do not have Bluetooth, such as old laptops and desktops. All that you need to do is plug the cable into the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Based on customer reviews, durability on Bose Wireless Bluetooth Headphones is good. That’s as well, considering that they are not the cheapest on the market. Though there are some issues with build quality that appear after some time, as you will see below, the fact remains that most people state that after more than a year, they are still using these headphones and they are still as good as new.
Though Bose SoundLink II Wireless headphones generally have a good rating among customers, they have their small share of critiques. That’s why it’s important for you to first check out reviews before buying headphones. You need to find out if the feature that you are interested in performs as good as advertised. One thing to note, in any case, is that all headphones will have a fair bit of negative reviews, so it’s a balancing act when purchasing yours. If you are interested in sound quality, as an example, you should buy if most people say it’s good. The following is some of the criticism for Bose SoundLink II headphones;
Calls are not clear in noisy environments
One of the advertised features is that these headphones allow you to make clear calls even in noisy environments. That’s aided by a supposedly advanced microphone system. However, there are customers out there who have found this to be a bit of an exaggeration. So, the product description on Amazon may be a bit of a stretch. One thing to note is that this problem is not restricted to Bose headphones wireless versions. Sound quality when making calls tends to be a bit lacking, save for those that come with a protruding microphone. So, this is not only a Bose problem.
Build quality is not the best
Another complaint is that the headband on Bose SoundLink headphones, which looks like leather, is actually some kind of plastic. For people who use these headphones all day long (as opposed to the average 3 hours per day), this may begin to fall apart after a few months. Considering the price, this is not something that should happen, in our view. Other people report ear pads falling off after a year of usage.
Lag when connected to 2 devices
Some users have reported a lag when Bose Soundlink II Wireless headphones are connected to 2 devices. Remember we said this is one of the selling points for these headphones. However, this problem can apparently be resolved by simply switching them on an off, so it shouldn’t be that big a deal.
No Active Noise Cancelling
These headphones do not come with Active Noise Cancelling, which has become something of a standard feature on headphones out there. You get some natural sound cancelling when using them, but that’s not as good as the ANC that’s on even cheaper headphones.
These headphones are good where sound quality is concerned. However, build quality is not the best, considering how much they cost. After a year or so of use, material on the headband will likely start to deteriorate. So, this is something that you need to be aware of when buying.
What do you get when you buy?
When you buy Bose SoundLink II headphones from Amazon using our link, you get the following;

Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones 700
These particular headphones from Bose; the Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones 700, are for those that are looking for a premium quality product. To be fair, Bose headphones, wireless or wired, are almost always premium quality but this one raises the bar as far as quality is concerned. Most people reach out because they have trouble distinguishing between Bose headphones. However, the Bose Bluetooth 700 is distinctive enough. So, what features are in these headphones?
Bose Wireless Headphones 700 are, without doubt, some of the premium quality headphones that can be found on the market today. It’s not surprising, therefore, that they command a premium price. You can check out the Bose 700’s current price in the above image. All that we can say is that they are priced a bit more than the QuietComfort 700.
- Alexa enabled
- Can connect 2 devices at once
- Touch controls
- Bose Music app
- 20 hours battery life
- Active Noise Cancelling (11 levels)
- Wireless Bluetooth
- Can use Google Assistant
- Build in microphones
- Software updates via the Bose Music app
- AUX Audio cable
- Water resistant
What do customers say about these headphones?
Bose, like every other manufacturer, says lots of nice things about their headphones. You can see what we mean by going through the features above. But, as we have been doing in the other Boss headphones Bluetooth reviews that we have covered in this article, we are not going to take Bose’s word as the gospel. Instead, we are going to try and find out what people who have already purchased this product have to say about it. What do people say about Bose Headphones Wireless 700 in relation to the features that are mentioned above?
They look good
One thing that people agree on is that Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones 700 are good looking. These headphones are sleek and eye catching. You will hear most customers talk about the futuristic look on the NC 700. They have a stainless steel headband, giving them a solid and premium feel. They are something that you will be proud to take out in public. Not that we are saying other headphones are anything to be ashamed of. Most Bose Headphones with Wireless on the market today are outstanding in their looks. But the NC 700 takes it to another level.
Sound quality is good
Sound quality is probably the most important consideration when buying headphones. Unfortunately, you don’t really have a way of testing out the sound when buying online. Fortunately, it’s easy enough to check online reviews to find out what others have to say about the headphones that you are interested in. With regard to Bose Bluetooth 700 Headphones, sound quality is great, based on what people who have already bought this product have to say. Again, Bose is known for it’s exceptional sound quality. This applies whether one is talking about the Bose headphones wireless or wired versions. They all sound good.
Touch controls are a nice feature
Adding to the premium feel for these headphones is the fact that they come with touch controls. You can adjust volumes, among other controls, using the touch panel. Of course, some people will find these controls a bit unusual at first, but they are something that everyone will learn to use after only a little while. So, how do these touch controls work? Well, the good news is that they are quite intuitive. If you swipe up on the touch pad, you increase volume. To decrease the volume, you swipe down. To get the next track, you swipe forward. Double tapping pauses and resumes play. Of the Bose Headphones with Bluetooth that we are looking at here, the NC 700 is the only one that offers touch controls.
They are good for hands free calls
One of the things that you will discover with most of the headphones that are out there is that though they come with the ability to make and receive hands-free calls, this functionality is somewhat lacking. The reason for this is that most of these headphones only have one microphone, and this can become overwhelmed by wind and other ambient noises. The result is that people at the other end of the call will complain that you sound as if you are in a tunnel.
Unlike other headphones on the market, Bose headphones Bluetooth 700 come with a system of 4 microphones. These are placed in such a way that they can easily pick up your voice as you speak, giving your calls an voice commands an unrivaled clarity. So, for those that make lots of calls, Bose Headphones Wireless 700 will do the trick for you. If you read the feedback that has been left online about this product, you will find that it is one of the best in this regard.
Active Noise Cancelling
Most of the headphones on the market today come with only one level of Active Noise Cancelling. This is another area where Bose headphones with Bluetooth excel. Active Noise Cancelling on these headphones has been set to 11 levels. This is really important. The environment around us is ever changing, meaning it should not be a one size fit all as far as noise cancelling is concerned.
There are times when you actually wish to let in some level of ambient noise. When walking outside, as an example, you don’t want to shut the world out. Otherwise you put yourself in danger of being struck down by vehicles. What you want is a set of headphones that allow you to control the level of noise cancelling, and you get this with Bose Headphones Bluetooth 700.
You can connect 2 devices at once
This is actually a standard feature for Bose headphones with wireless. One outstanding feature for the Bose Headphones Wireless NC 700 is that they can be connected to 2 devices at once. That’s actually very handy and allows you to seamlessly switch between the devices.
Optimized for Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri
Another great feature for these headphones is that they are optimized for voice assistants. From Alexa to Google Assistant and Siri, this functionality takes interaction with your devices to the next level. You can choose your preferred voice assistant using the Bose App.
Battery life tends to be a huge consideration when choosing headphones. One thing that you will note is the least in terms of battery power on headphones that are out there is 8 hours. We have also come across headphones whose battery is rated for 100 hours. But you need to be aware that battery should not be the primary of your considerations when choosing headphones. Most of the headphones that are out there have batteries that are good enough for most usages.
Bose Headphones Bluetooth Active Noise Cancelling 700 come with a battery that is rated for 20 hours. That’s a lot of juice. Most users state that they don’t need to recharge their headphones for up to 5 or 6 days. That’s with a daily use of about 3 hours. It’s more juice than you will find on most Smartphones. So, if you buy the Bose Headphones Bluetooth 700, you won’t really need to worry about running out of battery.
The issue of connectivity is important when buying Bluetooth headphones. What you don’t want to do is to buy headphones that are difficult to connect to your devices. That is not the case for the Bose Headphones Bluetooth NC 700. In fact, it only takes a few seconds for you to connect your device. And these headphones remember the last 8 devices that were connected, so you don’t need to go through the process of pairing once again. This is a really great and useful feature. Most of the headphones that are out there will only remember one or 2 previously connected devices.
AUX Audio Cable
Bluetooth headphones are great and everybody is looking to buy them. But what happens should you fail to get connectivity with your devices? There are devices out there that do not even have Bluetooth. What do you do then? Well, the great thing about Bose Headphones Bluetooth 700 is that they come with an audio cable. What this means is that you will always have the option of plugging this into the headphone jack on your device and you should be good to go without worrying about battery. This is something that you may want to do if you simply want to save the battery on your headphones. You may also wish to do so when working on your computer, when there is really no point in using Bluetooth.
Comfort level on Bose Headphones Wireless NC 700s is high
Comfort is another thing that you should be on the lookout for when buying headphones. That’s particularly the case for premium quality and premium price headphones such as the Bose Headphones Bluetooth 700. The good news is that this product is quite comfortable to use. In fact, you could use them throughout the day without any problems. Most people admit to actually forgetting they have the headphones on their heads. They are that comfortable! But that’s not really surprising, considering that this is a Bose product, after all.
The App comes in handy
Here is the thing, Bose provides you with a app that’s designed to make interaction with your headphones easy. The idea is to enhance your user experience. So, what’s the app useful for? The app gives you the following functionalities;
- You can create audio profiles
- It allows you to chose between Noise Cancelling levels
- You can choose your audio source. NC 700 headphones allow you to connect up to 2 devices at once. They also remember 8 previously connected devices.
- You can use the app to set your preferred voice Assistant.
They are adjustable
Another great feature for Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 is that they are adjustable. That is a handy feature on any headphones. People’s heads come in various shapes and sizes, so you need to be able to adjust your headphones to suit yours. Otherwise you are going to have a torrid time and your headphones are not going to be comfortable enough.
You will be hard pressed to find products on the market today that have not received some level of negative feedback. Bose Headphones Bluetooth 700 are no exception. If you check online reviews, you will notice that though they are highly rated, there are people who have raised a few concerns about this product. You should be aware of these concerns before buying, so you know exactly what you are getting into. Anyway, here are a few cons that have been raised about Bose 700 Wireless headphones;
NCH 700 headphones are not foldable
One of the major complaint’s with regard to NC 700 headphones is that they are not foldable. We have already profiled other Bose headphones, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, which are foldable. With the NCH 700, you do get a nice carry case, so lugging around these headphones shouldn’t be too much of a problem. But it would have been great if they could be folded to take up a smaller profile.
Noise cancelling is not 100%
Another complaint is that noise cancelling, even at the highest setting, on Bose Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headphones 700 does not reach 100%. Well, we can tell you that very few headphones on the market today are able to deliver noise cancelling to this level, so you are probably going to be disappointed if this is what you are looking for. Otherwise Noise Cancelling on the NCH 700 is industry leading.
Installing the app is difficult
The Bose app, which some have celebrated, actually has a few others pulling their hair off by the roots. Some people find that the app is rather difficult to install. You are also required to open a Bose account and to go through a number of other steps to get your headphones functional. We do have to say this complaint does not appear to have anything to do with the headphones themselves but with the app.
What do you get when you buy?
- Bose headphones 700
- USB charging cable
- AUX Audio cable
- Carrying case
Our recommendation is that if interested, Bose NC 700 headphones are definitely a product that you should buy. In fact, they are one of the best headphones from Bose that you will be able to find on the market at the moment. If you are looking for a pair of headphones that not only sound good but one that also looks good, then you should consider the NC 700.
